○ What will you be translating?
Currently we plan on translating the monthly publications of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun and the spinoff Afterschool Hanako-kun, as well as other Hanako-related or Aidairo extras. We're also translating supernatural-themed series and oneshots in G-Fantasy, such as Victoria's Electric Coffin. Our goal is to make G-Fantasy series more accessible to English-speaking fans outside of Japan! We will not be translating fan-published books, doujinshi, or comics.

Please see our resources page for information on buying and acquiring Japanese raws as well as officially published English translations!

○ How do you scanlate?
Please refer to the resources page linked in the question above!

○ Will you post your scanlations to other websites?
We post on tumblr and MangaDex.

○ Do you have other socials?On top of our tumblr, we also have a twitter and instagram! Art, cleans, and general JSHK updates are posted to the HanakoHub instagram account.More of our past content is archived on the twitter account HanakoHub.

○ Do you have a discord server?We do not have a discord server and do not have any plans to make one.

○ How do I view the scanlations in high quality?If you are unfamiliar with tumblr, you may have noticed that image previews are compressed. Click on the images to make them full screen and view them in higher quality!You can also look on MangaDex for our translations.

Typesetting Application

DBS is looking for typesetters!For those not in the know, a “typesetter” is one that does “typesetting.” Typesetting is just what the word implies: typing out text, and setting it on to a “cleaned” page. A cleaned page is one that has been scrubbed clean of dialogue and redrawn to look like there was never any other text there in the first place. Your goal is to be the bridge that connects the translations to the cleaned pages, and create what will soon be the “final form” of the translation.You will need to complete a test to gauge your typesetting abilities before we can let you on the team. We will provide you with a few resources, but you will need to find some things yourself.Please read through the Guidelines Doc below, and make use of the Resources Folder also linked below to complete your application.
